We consider our stakeholders as our raison d’etre --- our reason for being. Our business is anchored on the relationships that we build and sustain. As such, we have embodied our thrust of improving the quality of our stakeholder engagement in our sustainability policy, enhancing the mechanisms through which we communicate and collaborate with our stakeholders.

After we documented our stakeholder engagement process in 2007, we now have progressed towards identifying the gaps, focusing on issues on which we engage our stakeholders, including our Company’s response to such issues. This has provided us a better understanding of our stakeholders’ views and expectations.

The insights we have obtained from our dialogues and consultations also provided better ways of addressing our sustainability challenges, thereby balancing opportunities to strengthen our corporate social responsibility, economic viability and environmental sustainability.
